Hello and thank you for finding your way to this blog. In the following months these pages will fill up with information which I have found useful in learning to play the melodica in a reggae style. I will extend on this by including information on recording, adding effects and live manipulation of the sound which the instrument is producing.
I intend these pages to be useful to anyone not just those wanting to learn the melodica. It is also intended for musicians looking to brush up on their theory and sound engineers who are looking for the authentic reggae melodica sound. I myself am a music tutor both in the production and performance fields and will be using this blog to archive my lessons.
Please feel free to browse, leave comments and add content to this blog. Thank you for your time

ReplyDeletecool blog. Im going to be trying to learn the melodica. is there a scale that augustus pablo and other reggae artist use on the melodica? I like how people mix chords and freestyle with the melodica.
